The Organic Endurathon is over!

Conceived by Steve Shriver, CEO and founder of Eco Lips, the Organic Endurathon is a 260 mile run across Iowa's varied terrain to promote organics and celebrate Earth Day 2007.

Steve will run the entire Endurathon fueled by 100% certified organic food and beverages.  He will be coated in an armor of organic and sustainable performance activewear and supported by a team of cyclists, runners, and organic enthusiasts .  Steve will attempt to complete the 260 mile run across the state of Iowa in ten days or less.

The act of running 260 miles requires the wise investment of resources to sustain the effort and ensure success.  The same requirements are needed to build a truly sustainable organic economy, farming operation or business.

The Organic Endurathon will include a series of strategic stops along the route to meet with people, educate them about organics and sustainability and demonstrate how organics promote enduring life, land and livelihood.

Each mile of the route will be sponsored by corporate and private supporters of organic and sustainable living through monetary donations.
